POSITION VACANCY
POSITION TITLE: Assistant Coach - Men's Tennis
DEPARTMENT: Intercollegiate Athletics
CATEGORY: Full-Time, Contingent II (12
RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist the head coach with the organization, development and implementation of a competitive, Division I tennis program. Responsibilities will include recruiting, coaching, coordinating team travel, practice and match scheduling, and assisting with the administration of team budgets. Develop and maintain effective interaction with students, colleagues, university staff, alumni and the general public. Knowledge of and commitment to compliance with all NCAA, ACC and University rules and regulations as well as dedication to full academic development of student-athletes are essential. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree required. Two years of collegiate or club coaching experience in tennis, preferably at the Division I collegiate level preferred. Former collegiate and/or professional playing experience is helpful. Must have knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. Strong communication and organizational skills. Strong PC skills preferred.
SALARY: Commensurate with experience
