POSITION VACANCY
POSITION TITLE: Assistant Coach - Women's Lacrosse (2nd Assistant)
DEPARTMENT: Intercollegiate Athletics
CATEGORY: Contingent II (12 months)
RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist the head coach with the organization, development and implementation of a nationally competitive, Division I women's lacrosse program. Responsibilities will include assisting with the coordination of scouting and recruiting athletically talented and academically eligible student-athletes along with assisting with academic monitoring, coaching, and practice planning. Develop and maintain effective interaction with students, colleagues, university staff, alumni, media, and the general public. Knowledge of and commitment to compliance with all NCAA, ACC and University rules and regulations as well as dedication to full academic development of student-athletes are essential. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree required. Previous collegiate level or higher coaching experience required, preferably at the Division I level. Previous college playing experience helpful. Must be computer literate. Must have knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. Strong communication and organizational.
SALARY: Commensurate with experience.
