POSITION VACANCY
POSITION TITLE: Assistant Recruiting Coordinator (Non-coaching position)
DEPARTMENT: Intercollegiate Athletics
CATEGORY: Contingent II Exempt
RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist the Recruiting Coordinator with the administrative recruiting process of a Division I-A football program to ensure the process runs smoothly and in accordance with NCAA rules. Responsibilities include: planning and coordinating all recruiting travel, including developing itineraries, arranging transportation, hotel and meal accommodations, scheduling interviews, conducting campus and facilities tours, and resolving issues related to official and unofficial visits; assisting with the administrative process for the National Letters of Intent, Undergraduate Admissions, and NCAA Clearinghouse initial eligibility for incoming freshman; maintaining the recruiting database and producing reports as requested, serving as the liaison with the Compliance Office to ensure adherence to NCAA, ACC, and University regulations throughout the recruiting process; coordinating required campus tours with the official designated tour group; and serving as the liaison to the Admissions Office and the official campus designated tour group. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree required. Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be substituted for degree requirement. Must have one year of experience as an intern or as a graduate assistant in a collegiate athletic program, preferably in a Division I football program. Must have knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.
SALARY: Commensurate with experience.
