
Volleyball Team Hits Road to Georgia Tech, Clemson

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland travels to Georgia Tech for a Friday night matchup with Georgia Tech, to be shown on tape delay on Fox Sports South. Match time is 7 p.m. from O'Keefe Gymnasium in Atlanta.
The Terrapins enter the match having won three straight matches to improve their record to 13-6 overall and 5-5 in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Maryland has won three straight matches, including a 3-1 victory over Boston College on Tuesday night in College Park. The victory pulled Maryland into a fifth-place tie in the league standings at 5-5.
Maryland started the year by going 8-1 in non-league matchups, winning the VCU Invitational Tournament in early September. The Terrapins enter the match with the Yellow Jackets with a 1-6 road record. The Terps will be trying to win their first ACC road match this season.
Georgia Tech is 11-8 overall after Tuesday's 3-0 loss at home to league-leading Clemson. The Yellow Jackets are just ahead of Maryland in the ACC standings, standing in fourth place at 5-4.
Maryland follows the Georgia Tech match with a trip to Clemson on Saturday night. The Tigers are 16-2 and 9-0 in the ACC, and will host Boston College (10-10, 4-6) on Friday.
