Beth Gillming recorded her second double-double in as many nights, recording 11 kills and 11 digs, but league-leading Clemson improved to 11-0 in the Atlantic Coast Conference with a 30-22, 30-21, 30-25 victory over the University of Maryland in a volleyball match played before 1,780 at Jervey Gymnasium.
The Terrapins are now 13-8 overall and 5-7 in the ACC, while Clemson improved to 18-2 overall.
Jade Brown added 11 kills for the Terrapins, while Maggie Schmelzle had 10 digs. Hayley Hanson dished out 25 assists.
Clemson had four players with double figures in kills, getting 13 from Jeannette Abbott, a dozen each from Lia Proctor and Danielle Hepburn and 11 kills with 10 digs from Leslie Mansfield.
Maryland returns home next weekend to face Wake Forest on Friday night and nationally-ranked Duke on Sunday afternoon.
