Holliday to Appear In Lavalle As Part of Hoop Tales Tour

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Fans can join legendary Maryland Terrapins broadcaster Johnny Holliday in Lavalle, Md., on Monday, February 19 at 6:00 p.m., as he continues to promote his new book about his life with Terps basketball, HOOP TALES.

The appearance will take place at the Waldenbooks in the Country Club Mall in Lavalle. The event is being hosted by WTBO, an affiliate of the Terrapin Sports Radio Network.

In HOOP TALES® MARYLAND, veteran broadcaster and 'The Voice of the Terps,' Johnny Holliday shares his favorite memories of this beloved team. Together you'll relive the highs and lows and become reacquainted with some of the team's all-time greatest heroes and legends including:

• Coach Lefty Driesell, Midnight Madness, and the Terrapins' rise to national prominence.

• The brilliant yet tragically brief career of superstar Lenny Bias.

• Maryland coach and alum Gary Williams and his 2002 national championship.
