POSITION VACANCY
POSITION TITLE: Director of Operations for Women's Basketball
DEPARTMENT: Intercollegiate Athletics
CATEGORY: Faculty Non-tenured Contract (100094)
RESPONSIBILITIES: Direct with the administrative operational responsibilities as assigned by the head coach for the women's basketball program. Specific responsibilities include assisting the coaching staff with scheduling practices and games; coordinating the use of facilities; assisting the equipment manager with ordering, issuing, and collecting athletic equipment; arranging special events; developing and coordinating community outreach programs; and other duties as assigned by the head coach. Knowledge of and commitment to compliance with all NCAA, ACC and University rules and regulations as well as dedication to the full academic development of student-athletes are essential.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree required. Must have at least 2-3 years experience working in basketball operations, preferably at the Division I level and/or Head Coaching experience at the High School, Junior College or Division II and Division III level. Demonstrated ability in organizational and computer skills.
SALARY: Commensurate with experience.
