Three Terps Named to All-CWPA South First Team

COLLEGE PARK, Md.- University of Maryland senior Marissa Corwin and sophomores Elizabeth Hopkins and Blaise Stanicic were recognized by the Collegiate Water Polo Association South this week, named to the All-Division First Team. The honors were announced at the CWPA Eastern Division Championship on Sunday, where the Terps achieved sixth place in the conference.
Hopkins was also recognized to the All-Tournament second team for her performance in the Eastern Division Championship.
Shannon Simerly and Christen Vagts were named to the All-CWPA South Second Team, and Maryland head coach Carl Salyer was honored as division's Coach of the Year.
The Terps finished the season with a 16-18 overall record, and the CWPA Southern Division title.
