Water Polo Captains Announced for 2007-08 Season

COLLEGE PARK, Md.- The University of Maryland women's water polo team announced Allie Houseal and Blaise Stanicic as team co-captains for the 2007-08 season.
Houseal, a rising senior, will return to the position after leading the team alongside graduating senior Marissa Corwin for the 2006-07 year.
"Allie shows great leadership," said Maryland head coach Carl Salyer. "She is always positive, always supportive, no matter what is going on in and out of the pool."
Houseal was also the driving force behind organizing many of the team's activities and community service projects.
Joining Houseal at the helm will be rising junior Stanicic, whose continued leadership during the past two seasons have earned her the honor of co-captain.
