POSITION TITLE: Assistant Director of Operations & Facilities
DEPARTMENT: Intercollegiate Athletics
CATEGORY: Full-time, Exempt Staff (100152)
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Assistant Director of Operations & Facilities reports to the Director of Operations & Facilities and will provide management support and leadership in the Athletics Operations & Facilities office for the effective management of all athletic facilities, events operations, scheduling, staffing, budget and daily operations. Primary responsibilities include event planning and management for all special events, which includes camps, graduations, banquets, concerts, family shows and outside athletic events. Responsibilities also include, but not limited to, scheduling of all athletics competitions, practices, workouts, meetings, special events and camps; act as day-to-day liaison with Global Spectrum to book special events in
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree required. Must have 1-2 years of experience in event management or related environment. Must have working knowledge of special events management and planning experience. Ability to manage multiple projects to meet critical deadlines. Strong oral and written communication skills. Must be computer literate.
SALARY: Commensurate with experience.
