POSITION TITLE: Assistant Coach - Women's Soccer
DEPARTMENT: Intercollegiate Athletics
CATEGORY: Volunteer
RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist the head coach with the organization, development and implementation of a competitive, Division I women's soccer program. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, on-field coaching, on-campus recruiting, video break-down, various administrative duties, camp administration and other duties as assigned. Develop and maintain effective interaction with students, colleagues, university staff, alumni, media, and the general public. Knowledge of and commitment to compliance with all NCAA, ACC and University rules and regulations as well as dedication to full academic development of student-athletes are essential.
QUALIFICATIONS: Some coaching experience, preferably at the collegiate level is preferred. Collegiate playing experience at the Division I level is helpful. Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations is helpful.
