Maryland-NC State Football Game Time Set

Oct. 13, 2008

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Kickoff for the University of Maryland's home football game vs. North Carolina State on Saturday, Oct. 25 has been set for 3:30 p.m., the Atlantic Coast Conference office announced Monday.

The matchup, which will serve as the Terps' annual Homecoming game, was not selected for an over the air telecast, but it will be streamed live over the internet on ESPN 360. The Terrapin Sports Radio Network will also broadcast the contest.

The Terrapins (4-2, 1-1 ACC) are playing host to No. 21 Wake Forest (4-1, 2-0 ACC) Saturday (noon kickoff) in a battle for first place in the ACC's Atlantic Division. NC State (2-4, 0-2) will play host to Florida State Thursday in a nationally-televised game (ESPN).

Maryland's 37-0 win over NC State in the 2007 regular-season finale made the Terps bowl eligible for the fifth time in the previous seven seasons. The series between the teams is knotted at 30-30-4.

ACC home games are selected on a 12-day option by ESPN/ABC or Raycom Sports. Four times during the season, ESPN/ABC can choose certain ACC games on a six-day window.
