Maryland-Boston College Football Game Time Set

Nov. 23, 2008

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Kickoff for Saturday's regular-season finale between the University of Maryland and Boston College has been set for 3:30 p.m. ET, the Atlantic Coast Conference office announced Sunday.

The game will be shown regionally on ABC and in other parts of the country on ESPN2. A complete coverage map will be released later in the week.

The Terrapins (7-4, 4-3 ACC) were eliminated from contention in the ACC Atlantic Division race with Saturday's 37-3 loss to Florida State, but will try to improve their bowl position with a win over BC (8-3, 4-3) in Chestnut Hill, Mass. The Eagles can claim the Atlantic Division crown and a berth in the ACC title game with a win over the Terrapins.

Maryland, which is bowl eligible for the sixth time in Ralph Friedgen's eight seasons, can still claim a share of the division title with a win Saturday, though FSU would advance to the ACC championship game by virtue of its win over the Terps.

The Eagles have won three of five from the Terps in the all-time series, though Maryland did down the eighth-ranked Eagles last season in College Park.
