Terrapin Invitational Kicks Off Friday Evening

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Despite inclement weather in the Baltimore/Washington, D.C. area Friday, the 2008 Terrapin Water Polo Invitational will proceed as planned.
The three-day, 10-team tournament begins with Slippery Rock facing Princeton at 7 p.m. Friday.
All the matches will take place in the Eppley Recreation Center Natatorium, which is located on campus. Admission is free.
Maryland (5-3) will face Iona (0-0) and Marist (3-2) Saturday, and Wagner (0-2) Sunday.
The Terps and the Gaels begin their match at 10:30 a.m., while Maryland-Marist match gets underway at 7:15 p.m. The Terrapins face Wagner at 11:45 a.m.
Results will be posted throughout Saturday and Sunday.
