COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The University of Maryland women's water polo team will play host to the Elite Six Tournament this weekend, which will be held on campus at the Eppley Recreation Center Natatorium.

Maryland (10-3) will face No. 12 Michigan (8-9) and No. 20 Indiana (5-7) Saturday, the opening day of the six-team tournament. The Terps will match up with Brown (1-3) and No. 15 Hartwick College (4-5) Sunday.

The Terps, who have won six straight games, face the Wolverines at noon, and square off against the Hoosiers at 6:30 p.m. On Sunday Maryland takes on Hartwick at 10:30 a.m. and finishes against Brown at 4:30 p.m.

Maryland has already faced Brown and Indiana this season, falling, 12-6, to the Hoosiers at the Princeton Invitational and topping the Bears, 10-8, at the Triton Invitational in San Diego.

The Terrapins are coming off a huge weekend in which they were driven to a 5-0 record at the Terrapin Invitational by CWPA Southern Division Player of the Week Christen Vagts.

With No. 18 Princeton (5-2) serving as the sixth team in attendance, the tournament will feature five matchups between ranked teams.

The tournament will get underway at 9 a.m. Saturday when Indiana takes on Brown.

Admission is free to the Eppley Recreation Center Natatorium.
