
Terps Heading to Third Straight CWPA Eastern Championship

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland women's water polo team (20-14) received an at-large bid to the CWPA Eastern Championship. The Terps, the sixth seed, will face third-seeded Indiana (19-14) in the first round at 3:30 p.m. Friday at the University of Michigan's Donald B. Canham Natatorium.
The Terps will either face Hartwick (35-1), or Brown (15-14) Saturday in the second round.
This will mark the third straight trip to Easterns for the Terrapins under Carl Salyer.
Maryland is coming off of a third place finish at the CWPA Southern Division Championship, beating George Washington, 10-3, after losing to Princeton, 10-4.
