Princeton Review Tabs Maryland 'Best Athletic Facilities'

July 30, 2008

NEW YORK, N.Y. - The Princeton Review ranked the University of Maryland athletic facilities tops in the country, as released by the publication Monday.

The survey asked 120,000 students at 368 colleges to rate their schools on a multitude of topics. The 80-question survey asked students about their institution's academics, campus life, administration, student body and themselves. Findings are published yearly in The Princeton Review's annual college guide, The Best 368 Colleges (Random House/Princeton Review).

Maryland edged Texas A&M, Wabash College (Indiana), Florida, and Tennessee for the best athletic facilities in the nation. It is the first year the topic has been part of the Princeton Review's survey.

Maryland also ranked second in `Students Pack the Stadiums' and sixth in `Best College Newspaper'.
