POSITION TITLE: Assistant Director of Marketing
DEPARTMENT: Intercollegiate Athletics
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Assistant Director of Marketing will be responsible for the development and implementation of marketing and promotional efforts for Women's Basketball, with a key focus on maximizing revenue and attendance. Serve as lead marketing representative for the 2009 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championship First & Second Rounds. Oversee marketing operations for Field Hockey, Volleyball and Softball. Assist with marketing operations for Football and Men's Basketball. Scheduling and management of public address announcers for Olympic Sports. Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sport Management or related field/concentration required. Master's degree and/or two (2) years of sports marketing experience at the NCAA division I level preferred. Exceptional work ethic, a strong desire to succeed, excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to work in a high pressure environment. Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Photoshop.
SALARY: Commensurate with experience
