COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Saturday's season-opening football game between Maryland and Delaware, scheduled to the telecast nationally on ESPNU at 3:45 p.m. ET, will also be simulcast on ESPN.
The addition was made due to the adjustment in the kickoff time for the LSU-Appalachian State game in Baton Rouge, La.
The Tigers and Mountaineers were scheduled to kick off at 3 p.m. CT Saturday, but adjusted the start time to 10 a.m. due to the impending arrival of Hurricane Gustav. That contest was slated to be carried on ESPN, but has been moved to ESPN Classic.
The Maryland-Delaware game will be broadcast on the Terrapin Sports Radio Network. Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic will replay the game at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
