COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Due expected humid conditions at Saturday's Maryland-Delaware football game, Maryland Athletics has instituted its Heat Management Plan.
When a heat index of at least 85 degrees is projected for a football gameday, the plan goes into effect.
Cooling stations will be set up in Chevy Chase Bank Field at Byrd Stadium. Fans may also bring bottled water into the stadium under those conditions.
