GREENSBORO, N.C. - Kickoff for the University of Maryland's home football game vs. Eastern Michigan on Saturday, Sept. 20 has been set for 1 p.m. at Chevy Chase Bank Field at Byrd Stadium. The Atlantic Coast Conference office made the announcement Monday.

The matchup was not selected for an over the air telecast, but it will be streamed live over the internet on ESPN 360. The Terrapin Sports Radio Network will also broadcast the contest.

The Terrapins (1-1, 0-0 ACC) are playing host to California (2-0, 1-0 Pac-10) Saturday (noon kickoff) before entertaining the Eagles (1-1, 0-0), who play in the Western Division of the Mid-American Conference.

Maryland has won all three meetings (2001-03) with EMU.

ACC home games are selected on a 12-day option by ESPN/ABC or Raycom Sports. Four times during the season, ESPN/ABC can choose certain ACC games on a six-day window.
