Maryland-Virginia Game Time Announced

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Kickoff for the University of Maryland's annual Homecoming football game vs. the University of Virginia on Saturday, Oct. 17 has been set for 4 p.m. ET at Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium.

The Atlantic Coast Conference office made the announcement Monday.

The game will be telecast on ESPNU and broadcast on the 13-station Terrapin Sports Radio Network, which includes flagship station WJZ-FM 105.7 in Baltimore and WJFK-FM 106.7 in Washington, D.C.

ESPNU, which is available to more than 46 million college sports fans across the country, is offered on Direct TV (channel 614) and Dish Network (channel 148), as well as many local cable providers.

ESPNU is available on Comcast Cable, airing in most local areas on channel 730 as part of the Digital Classic tier package. For specific availability questions, fans should visit www.comcast.com.

After a four-game homestand, the Terrapins (2-3, 1-0 ACC) are hitting the road Saturday to face Wake Forest (3-2, 1-1) before coming back home to face the Cavaliers.

Maryland holds a 41-30-2 all-time record in the series with Virginia.

ACC home games are selected on a 12-day option by ESPN/ABC or Raycom Sports. Four times during the season, ESPN/ABC can choose certain ACC games on a six-day window.
