COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The University of Maryland volleyball team is home at Comcast Pavilion for the fourth time in five weeks, as North Carolina and NC State visit College Park this weekend, beginning at 7 p.m. Friday against the Tar Heels, followed at 1 p.m. Sunday by a Senior Day matchup with NC State.

The Terrapins' senior trio of Katie Usher, Hayley Hanson and Christina Paul will be honored before Sunday's match.

Parking restrictions are in effect for Friday night's match against North Carolina, due to the men's basketball game against Charleston Southern. People planning to attend the match can pay $10 to park in Regents Drive Garage or park for free in Lot 1 or Lot XX1 and take a free shuttle to Comcast Center. Heavy traffic is expected due to the basketball game, so fans are encouraged to plan accordingly.

Maryland (11-17, 3-12 ACC) is looking to snap a four-match losing skid this weekend. The Terps are led by Usher, who is hitting a team-best .331. Freshman Sam Rosario is having a big season, as well. Rosario leads the ACC with 44 service aces and ranks 31st nationally while averaging 4.04 digs per set.

Defending co-ACC champion North Carolina is playing well coming into the weekend, having won seven of its last 10 matches and three straight. However, NC State is winless in the league at 0-15 and has been swept in 12 consecutive matches.

North Carolina has won four of the last five meetings against Maryland, but the Terps have won four of the last five in Comcast Pavilion. The Terps have won 13 of the last 14 against the Wolfpack and lead the all-time series, 38-18. NC State has not won in College Park since 1989.

The Terps split a road trip earlier this season against the Tar Heels and Wolfpack. Maryland lost 3-1 at North Carolina and overcame a 0-2 deficit to win, 3-2, at NC State.
