Friday's Maryland-FSU Baseball Game Suspended by Rain in Middle of Sixth Inning

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Friday night's baseball game between Maryland and Florida State has been suspended due to rain with Florida State holding a 5-2 lead in the middle of the sixth inning.
The game is tentatively scheduled to resume Saturday at 11 a.m., with Saturday's regularly-scheduled game to start approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the suspended game.
The Seminoles scored two runs in the second, one in the third and two more in the fourth to take a 5-0 lead. The Terps fought back with two in the bottom of the fourth on a solo home run by David Poutier and a sacrifice fly from Tyler Bennett.
Maryland will be hitting to start Saturday's suspended game, with Poutier, Mike Murphy and A.J. Casario due up in the bottom of the sixth.
