POSITION VACANCY
POSITION TITLE: Assistant/Associate Director of Athletics for Operations and Facilities/ (Director)
DEPARTMENT: Intercollegiate Athletics

The Athletic Program has won 18 national championships over the last 15 years and is a charter member of the Atlantic Coast Conference. Currently, 92 of the University's academic programs are ranked in their respective Top 25 nationally.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Assistant/Associate Director of Athletics for Operations and Facilities serves as a senior level member of the Athletic Department and reports to the Senior Associate AD for Business/CFO. This individual is responsible for directly managing the athletic department's facility operations, game day staff, and grounds department for an athletic program with 27 varsity sports. He/she will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordinating, and managing of all competitions, events or functions using ICA indoor and outdoor facilities, including the Comcast Center. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, overseeing all maintenance and/or renovations of ICA facilities; managing all game day operations for home athletic events; overseeing the scheduling of ICA facilities for all internal and external events, including rental agreements, support services, equipment and overall event management; managing future facility enhancement campaign projects; and managing all department keys, locks, phones, parking, security, and daily operation of ICA facilities. This individual will supervise a staff of approximately 8-10 full-time employees, and will serve as the liaison to the University's office of Facilities Management as it relates to ICA facility upkeep and repairs.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree required, along with a minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in a facility and/or operations position. Preference will be given to individuals with demonstrated, successful managerial experience in collegiate athletics, especially at the Division I level. Ability to manage multiple projects to meet critical deadlines. Strong oral and written communication skills.
SALARY: Commensurate with experience.
