GREENSBORO, N.C. -
Freshman Jessica Hollandsworth has been named to the All-ACC team, the conference announced Monday. Hollandsworth, the only Terrapin so honored, received the news prior to representing the Terps as an individual participant at the NCAA Tournament.
Hollandsworth finished first at the Spider Fall Invitational in October, the only Terp this season to earn an individual victory. During the spring, she earned the team's only top-five finish with a fifth-place showing at the John Kirk Lady Panther Intercollegiate.
Averaging a 74.66 this season, Hollandsworth's low round was a 71, which she accomplished four times.
Natalie Sheary of Wake Forest and Amanda Blumenherst of Duke shared the league's Player of the Year honor. Catherine O'Donnell of North Carolina was the Freshman of the Year.
