COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland's Elizabeth Hopkins and Blaise Stanicic were voted to the 2009 Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches Women's All-America Team, the organization announced Thursday.

Hopkins and Stanicic, both senior attackers, earned spots on the honorable mention ACWPC squad.

Hopkins finished third on the team in goals (39) and fourth in points (56) in 2009. Stanicic had a team-best 35 assists and was second in points (63). She also was tabbed an honorable mention All-American last season.

That duo was instrumental in helping the Terps post a 16-13 mark in 2009 en route to a best-ever third-place finish in the CWPA Eastern Championship.
