POSITION VACANCY
POSITION TITLE: Program Coordinator
DEPARTMENT: Intercollegiate Athletics
CATEGORY: Full-time, Exempt (114971)
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Program Coordinator will assist the Associate Director for Football with Study Table, tutoring program, and other academic support services. Specific duties include: coordinating the Study Table component and computer lab of ASCDU for football (including weekly spreadsheets); overseeing the reporting and management of the tutorial component for ASCDU for football (including recruiting, hiring, training and assigning tutors to students); providing academic support services to a caseload of football student athletes; coordinating the class monitoring program for football; assisting with coordination of Faculty Guest Coach program; assisting with recruiting presentations during official visits and other recruiting weekends; assisting with coordination and implementation of the football Community Service program; and other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred, preferably in Higher Education, College Student Personnel Services, or related field. At least 2 years of experience in post-secondary educational institutions, preferably in athletic academic services working with football student-athletes. Familiarity with NCAA academic rules and procedures. Strong oral and written communication skills are needed. Must be computer literate, preferably using Microsoft Word and Excel. Must be a self-starter who is able to manage multiple tasks.
SALARY: Commensurate with experience.
