COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The University of Maryland women's golf program will continue its fall season Saturday at the William K. Warren Invitational, hosted by Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Ind.

The Terrapins are coming off a third-place finish at last week's UNCG Starmount Fall Classic, in which sophomore Christine Shimel led the squad with an eighth-place 4-over-par finish.

Returning from last year's squad are All-ACC selections Shimel and junior Jessica Hollandsworth. In 2009, Hollandsworth earned two top-20 finished and a top-10 placing in the spring.

Hayley Brown, Kerri Connolly, Alexis Holmes, Hilary Lawson and Lauren Varnas also return for Maryland and head coach Jason Rodenhaver. Walk-on Lauren Smith is the only addition to the team, which will play in two more tournaments, the Lady Pirate Invitational and FIU Pat Bradley Invitational, before closing out the fall season.

The William K. Warren Invitational is being held at Notre Dame's William and Natalie O. Warren Golf Course. The Terps will begin play on Saturday, when they'll tee off at 9 a.m. along with Kentucky and Indiana.

Other schools participating in the invitational include: Cincinnati, Georgia State, Illinois, Indiana, Kent State, Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Toledo and Texas-San Antonio.
