SOUTH BEND, Ind. -
Senior Kerri Connolly shot a second-round 75 to finish tied for 21st overall, lead the Maryland women's golf squad to an 11th place finish at the William K. Warren Invitational.
Host Notre Dame won the event, finishing 41-over-par, five strokes ahead of second-place finisher Kent State.
Sophomore Christine Shimel also finished at 21st; Shimel ended the first two rounds at 76. Sophomore Hayley Brown ended the invitational tied for 38th with three-round card of 237. Junior Jessica Hollandsworth followed at 238 and senior Hilary Lawson rounded out the Terps finishing at 244.
