The Maryland water polo team is getting ready for one of its biggest weekends of the season with division tournament seeding on the line.
The Terrapins (12-12, 1-2) will play five games beginning Friday, including contests against CWPA Southern Division foes Bucknell, Princeton and George Washington.
Maryland will hit the pool against George Washington (7-12, 0-4) at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Eppley Recreation Center Natatorium.
The Terps are chasing both Princeton (15-8, 3-1) and Bucknell (12-8, 4-1) in the division standings.
Maryland will face the Tigers at 7 p.m. Saturday and the Bison at 2 p.m. Sunday.
The CWPA Southern Division Tournament will take place on April 24-25 at Princeton with the winner getting an automatic bid to the CWPA Eastern Championship which will be held April 30-May 2 in College Park.
Maryland will also play seventh-ranked Michigan (24-6) twice this weekend. The Terps and Wolverines will face off at 10 a.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.
Michigan will also play George Washington at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Eppley Recreation Center Natatorium.
Admission is free to all games this weekend.
