POSITION TITLE: Assistant Producer
DEPARTMENT: Intercollegiate Athletics

RESPONSIBILITIES: This position reports to the Director of Multimedia Productions. The Assistant Producer will be responsible for assisting in all post-production work, as well as assisting all game production of Maryland football, men's and women's basketball, and men's lacrosse home games. The Assistant Producer will help in producing and editing all video needs, including highlight videos, TerpVision video elements, coaches show video elements and special projects including commercials and recruiting videos as well as creating and editing digital media on umterps.com.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree required. Must have 3-5 years of experience, including mastery of Final Cut video editing software and equipment, including After Effects and Photoshop. Experience working with mini dv cameras and filming game action. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact with a diverse community. SALARY: Commensurate with experience. Competitive nationally.
