
Terps Head to ACC Football Kickoff

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Head coach Ralph Friedgen, wide receiver Torrey Smith and linebacker Alex Wujciak will represent Maryland at this year's Atlantic Coast Conference Football Kickoff.
The two-day event begins Sunday at The Grandover Resort in Greensboro, N.C.
Smith and Wujciak will be among 24 players from around the league addressing the media on Sunday. Friedgen and the rest of the ACC head coaches are scheduled to visit with the media Monday.
The ACC office will be providing live satellite feeds of a segment of both the player and head-coach interviews. The press conference-style interviews will also be streamed live by the ACC (click here to view the interviews).
Sunday's feed will start at 3 p.m. EST with player interviews on 11-minute intervals. The interview order will begin with Georgia Tech followed by Maryland (3:11 p.m.), Duke, Clemson, Boston College, Florida State, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, N.C. State, North Carolina, Miami and Virginia. Coverage ends at 6 p.m.
Monday's head-coach interviews will start at 3:30 p.m. (on 14-minute intervals) with Jimbo Fisher followed by Tom O'Brien, Dabo Swinney, Jim Grobe, coordinator of football officials Doug Rhoads, David Cutcliffe, Ralph Friedgen (4:54 p.m.), Randy Shannon, Frank Spaziani, Commissioner John Swofford, Butch Davis, Frank Beamer, Paul Johnson and Mike London. Coverage ends at 6:30 p.m.
