COLLEGE PARK, MD. - The University of Maryland Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and umterps.com are proud to unveil a new initiative that will provide a virtual information guide for all 27 of the University of Maryland's athletic programs.

The first four guides are now live for Field Hockey, Men's Soccer, Women's Soccer and Volleyball. Each of the Terps' 27 sports will have an on-line Virtual Information Guide as the year progresses.

The guides highlight each of Maryland's programs by displaying their coaching staffs, facilities, histories and accomplishments through custom graphics, entertaining videos and photo galleries.

The Maryland athletics media relations staff worked on the project.

This is the second step in Maryland's effort to provide a digital media guide for its 27 sports. Last year, Maryland took the history and records section that were traditionally printed in the team's media guide and added them to UMTerps.com in a format that is easy to search and read.
