COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Capital A Entertainment has stepped up to the plate for the inaugural Maryland Baseball Leadoff Banquet by matching all proceeds raised at the event and donating them directly to the baseball program.

Based in New York, the company hosts exclusive parties and special affairs, predominantly centered around major events in the sports, film and music industries.

Tommy Lasorda headlines the banquet, which will be held Friday, February 4 at the Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the program begins at 7:45. For tickets to the event, please click here.

Maryland opens its season on Feb. 18 with a four-game series at Texas. The home opener is Feb. 23, a 3 p.m. matchup with Navy.
