Terps Set to Play The Invitational

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland men's golf team will play its fourth event of the season Monday, Oct. 17 at The Invitational on the par-72, 7,504-yard Ocean Course at Kiawah Island, S.C.
The Terps finished sixth at the Firestone Invitational in Akron, Ohio, last week. The sixth place finish matched the squad's best finish of the fall.
Sophomore Sean Bosdosh and freshman Jordan Sweet lead the Terps in scoring. Bosdosh and Sweet are averaging 71.33 and 71.89 per-18 holes, respectively. Among players with fewer than 10 rounds played this season, Bosdosh and Sweet rank in the top 10 in the ACC.
The Invitational will begin at 8:30 a.m. and will feature a shotgun start with the second round to immediately follow. Live stats will be available via Golfstat.
Other teams competing in The Invitational include: College of Charleston, Charleston Southern, Davidson, Florida, Kansas, Mercer, Notre Dame, Richmond, South Florida, UAB and USC Upstate.
