
Terps Prepare for Final Fall Event

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland men's golf team completes its fall season this weekend at the ODU/Outer Banks Invitational at the par-72, 6,535-yard Kilmarlic Golf Club in Powells Point, N.C. The three-round event will begin Sunday and conclude Tuesday.
Maryland enters the weekend off of its first top-5 finish of the season at The Invitational at The Ocean Course in Kiawah Island, S.C. The Terps finished fourth and were led by senior Joey Rice who recorded his lowest 54-hole round of the fall (215) to place sixth.
Through four events, freshman Jordan Sweet leads the Terrapins in scoring. Sweet's 71.92 18-hole average is the best in the ACC for golfers with 10 or more rounds played.
The first round will begin at 8:30 a.m. Sunday. Live stats will be available via Golfstat.
Other teams competing in the ODU/Outer Banks Invitational include: Delaware, Drexel, Elon, Georgia, George Mason, Hartford, James Madison, Liberty, Longwood, Louisville, Old Dominion, Radford, Richmond, St. Joseph's, Towson, William & Mary and Winthrop.
