Recap |  Final Stats |  Quotes |  Photo Gallery 1  |  Photo Gallery 2

Kicking Off: Maryland fell to 2-6 and 1-4 in ACC play with its 28-17 loss to Boston College ... the Eagles improved to 4-1 in College Park and 6-3 overall in the series ... Maryland's lone win in College Park came in 2007 when the Terps beat the then-eighth ranked Eagles, 42-35.

Meggett Reaches Top 10: Senior Davin Meggett moved into a tie for 10th on Maryland's career rushing yards list with 99 yards today. Meggett, who came into the game 11th in school history, moved into a tie for 10th with Willie Joyner (2,140; 1980-83).

Chism's Interception: Cameron Chism intercepted Boston College quarterback Chase Rettig's pass as the first half expired, marking the third interception of the season for the senior. That's tied for a team high with Dexter McDougle. Chism now has seven career interceptions, which is tied for the most on the team with Kenny Tate.

Sloppy Conditions: Rain and snow fell throughout the game, contributing to a combined six turnovers, with Boston College committing four (one interception, three lost fumbles) and the Terps committing two (both interceptions). There were a total of six fumbles in the game - BC had four, losing three of them, while Maryland had two, but didn't lose either. Combined, the place-kickers made just 1 of 5 field goal attempts (BC 0-of-2; Maryland 1-of-3).

Making Adjustments: The Terps have trotted out a different defensive starting lineup every game this season. Marcus Whitfield was new to the lineup Saturday, drawing his first career start on the defensive line. Andre Monroe also made his first start since the Temple game (9/24).

Streaks and Trends: Maryland recorded an interception for the 12th time in the last 14 games ... the Terps have 34 picks over the last 24 games ... Cameron Chism made his team-high 31st consecutive start ... the Terps won the turnover battle for the third straight game ... Maryland had averaged 34.9 points over its last 11 home games but had just 17 today.

Tidbits: Eric Franklin had his fourth double-digit tackle game of the year with 11 ... Darin Drakeford had 11 tackles and in four games played this season is averaging 8.5 tackles per game ... freshman Keith Bowers had a season-high nine tackles, including two tackles for loss ... Maurice Hampton also set a career high with seven tackles ... Adrian Coxson made his first career reception in the fourth quarter and later had a 55-yard touchdown catch ... there were just four combined penalties, a season low (previously seven vs. Temple).
