COLLEGE PARK, Md. - After placing eighth at its spring season-opening JMU Invitational on Mar. 13, the University of Maryland women's golf team will compete in the John Kirk Panther Intercollegiate, hosted by Georgia State, on Monday.
The invitational will take place at the par-72, 6,047 yard Eagles Landing Country Club in Stockbridge, Ga. Maryland will compete against 13 other schools: Arkansas State, Daytona State College, East Tennessee State, Georgia State, James Madison, Miami, Michigan, Middle Tennessee State, Murray State, Notre Dame, UCF, Western Carolina and Xavier.
At the JMU Invitational, the Terrapin team finished in the top-10 and junior Jessica Hollandsworth finished at No. 17 individually.
All 14 teams will play 36 holes Monday and the final 18 on Tuesday. Both days of play will begin at 9 a.m. with shotgun starts.
