COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Already with a pair of top-10 finishes, the University of Maryland women's golf team will continue its spring season at Ole Miss on Friday at the Rebel Intercollegiate in Oxford, Miss.
Along with the Terrapins, 17 other schools will compete in the event: host Ole Miss, Coastal Carolina, East Tennessee State, Kansas, Memphis, Michigan, Mississippi State, Missouri, Murray State, Rollins, SMU, South Florida, Southern Miss, Tulane, Tulsa and UCF.
The intercollegiate, played at the par-72, 6,351 yard Ole Miss Golf Course, will begin Friday at 8 a.m. and continue through Sunday with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
This spring, junior Jessica Hollandsworth, a Floyd, Va., native, has two top-20 cards, including her third-place finish at the John Kirk Panther Intercollegiate.
Sophomore Christine Shimel tied for 11th at the event, hosted by Georgia State, helping the Terps take second place in the team race.
