COLLEGE PARK, Md. -
This weekend marks the final series of home games for the Maryland water polo team.
The Terps (13-13) are playing host to several teams this weekend, including George Washington (6-13), Harvard (14-11), No. 13 Indiana (18-11), Brown (9-12) and 17th-ranked Princeton. (16-9).
The Terps will play all four of their CWPA Southern Division games this weekend. The first contest of the weekend pits Maryland vs. George Washington at 7 p.m. Friday at the Eppley Recreation Center Natatorium. A complete list of games is below.
Maryland seniors Ally Beck, Meghan Powers, Jessica Ernst and Stephanie Ragheb, as well as Elina Goldenberg, will be recognized Saturday prior to the Princeton game (7 p.m.).
The Terps, who are receiving votes in the national poll this week, will look to their seniors for leadership and production in their final regular season games.
Beck is the team's leading goal scorer (44) and had racked up 56 points, which is second on the team to Allison Campbell (66).
Powers has started all 26 games and has posted 22 goals and 20 assists on the season.
The Terps will also play Harvard at 10:30 a.m. Sunday and will conclude the weekend with the Brown Bears at 3 p.m.
Admission is free to all games over the weekend. Parking will be available in the Lot 2G lower lot which is adjacent to Eppley or Lot 6 Arena Garage. Click here to view a campus parking map.
The games featured this weekend will assist in determining the seeding for the CWPA Eastern Championship (note: There is no CWPA Southern Division tournament this season) which is scheduled for April 29-May 1 in Bloomington, Ind.
