Facilities, Operations & Events Coordinator (2 positions)
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Facilities, Operations & Events Coordinators will serve as an assistant to the Facilities, Operations & Events Management Team in the areas of game management, facility changeover and special projects. Specific duties include management of student and support staff to conduct setups, breakdowns and projects. The Coordinators will serve as a Game Administrators for multiple sports.
One Coordinator position will also be involved in staff coordination of approximately 75 student staff members (hiring, staffing, payroll, etc.), special events to include ACC and NCAA Championships, facility management (Softball Complex), sport liaison (Softball, Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving, Water Polo) and other duties as assigned by the Associate Director.
The second Coordinator position will also be involved in staff coordination of approximately 200 guest relations staff (hiring, staffing, payroll, etc.), special events to include ACC and NCAA Championships, facility management (Heritage Hall), sport liaison (Comp Cheer, Spirit Squad, and Men's & Women's Tennis) and other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university and experience in event management. Computer experience preferred (Word, Excel, Powerpoint). Must be able to work evenings and weekends. Strong verbal, written, organizational and interpersonal skills.
APPOINTMENT: Regular, non-exempt: Projected start date is ASAP
SALARY: $10.00 per hour, overtime eligible. No health benefits.
