
USA Water Polo Announces Cap Campaign

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. - Renowned chef and former Maryland Club Water Polo player Rohan Rambukpotha was among a variety of celebrities to lend their support to USA Water Polo's first-ever "Cap Campaign".
The campaign's goal is to raise awareness for the fast growing sport and features images of celebrities, each of whom have former playing experience, wearing water polo caps.
"We hope to rally the water polo community here in the US around the defining image of the water polo cap," said USA Water Polo chief marketing officer Jennifer Rottenberg. "We are grateful to the wonderful members of the water polo community who already have donated their time and their images to define the campaign, and we look forward to seeing what the imaginations of others in the sport have in store!"
The images are headlined by the campaign's slogan "I am Water Polo" and displays celebrities such as recording artist Sean Paul, actor Ted McGinley and WNBA All Star Jayne Appel.
Rambukpotha has served as personal chef to director Chris Robinson and actor Mekhi Phifer, and has cooked for the likes of the late Rosa Parks, former President Bill Clinton, rapper Snoop Dogg, and Method Man. Classically trained at Le Cordon Blue, Paris, he currently heads Chef's diet. a spa cuisine, gourmet food delivery service in Los Angeles. In addition to playing club water polo while attending Maryland, he competed for the Terrier Water Polo Club, Brooklyn, NY, won a Junior Olympic Gold Medal playing for Annapolis Water Polo, and represented the East Coast at a USAWP National Junior Team Training Camp.
"Water polo holds a big part in my heart, I've always loved the game, loved playing water polo and anything that can support USA water polo I'm down for." said Rambukpotha, who graduated with a bachelor's degree in geography from the University.
