Prior to Kickoff, Come To Terp Town

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland football team opens Atlantic Coast Conference play on Saturday against Wake Forest, but before heading into Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium fans are encouraged to enjoy the ultimate gameday experience at Terp Town.
Located at the Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center, Terp Town opens at 12:30 p.m.
Terp Town features live musical performances, several food vendors and food trucks, street teams roaming the parking lots, games and activities and a new express shuttle service providing convenient transportation from the Comcast Center parking lots to Terp Town.
"We are committed to making Terp Town the ultimate game day experience for our fans," said Deputy Athletic Director for External Operations Nate Pine. "The atmosphere at Terp Town and in our parking areas continues to evolve and improve each year. We are excited that now our fans can enjoy live entertainment and expanded food options in addition to all of the traditional game day activities prior to kickoff.
In addition, inside Moxley Gardens, fans will be able to enjoy food, drinks and live music. Drink discounts will be available for all Alumni Association and Terrapin Club members with their membership card.
Prestige Worldwide will be this week's featured live musical performer at Terp Town.
Maryland Pride Rally Towels are available for all season ticket holders who have yet to pick them up. In addition, Terps' oven mitts will be distributed to the first 1,000 fans in attendance.
The event, presented by Capital One Bank, is being coordinated by the University of Maryland Alumni Association and Intercollegiate Athletics.
