
Terps Head to Bridgestone Collegiate

GREENSBORO, N.C. - The University of Maryland men's golf team will play its final tournament of the 2012 fall season when it heads to the Bridgestone Golf Collegiate this weekend.
The 54-hole event gets underway with 36 holes on Saturday at the par-72 Grandover Resort, and concludes with 18 holes on Sunday. Both days will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start. Live scoring is available here.
Maryland is coming off a fifth place finish at the Wolfpack Intercollegiate, with Sean Bosdosh leading the way with a 1-under par 215 to finish tied for fourth. That marked the third straight top-5 finish for Bosdosh, who leads the ACC in scoring with a 71.27 average. The junior has already won two tournaments this season, claiming the individual titles at the VCU Shootout and Firestone Invitational.
A pair of freshmen also rank in the top 30 in scoring in the ACC: Tom Harris is 26th with a 74.45 average, and Andrew McCain is 30th with a 76.36 average. Bosdosh, Harris and McCain, along with Ben Warnquist and Jordan Sweet, will compete at the Bridgestone this weekend.
Other teams participating include UNG-Greensboro, Virginia Tech, Purdue, Iowa State, Mississippi State, Boston College, Chattanooga, Eastern Michigan, Georgia State, Maryland, NC State, Mississippi and VCU.
