Two Terps Secure CWPA Weekly Awards

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. - Allison Campbell was named the CWPA Western Division Player of the Week and Zoe Respondek was tabbed the freshman of the week by the league office on Tuesday.
Campbell helped Maryland post a 3-1 mark, including a win over 14th-ranked UC San Diego, in the Terrapin Invitational. The junior had eight goals. seven assists and six steals in the four games. She also drew nine kickouts.
Campbell had a team-high three goals in Sunday's 10-2 victory over Wagner. She was also instrumental in the 14-6 win over UCSD, posting five assists and four steals.
Repondek had an impressive debut for the Terps. She started all four games in the Terrapin Invitational, posting 11 points (two goals/nine assists), including five in Saturday's 14-6 victory over No. 14 UC San Diego. The Miami, Fla., native also registered eight steals, including a team-best four vs. Wagner, and just two turnovers.
