BRIDGEPORT, Pa. - Zoe Respondek was named the CWPA Western Division Freshman of the Week on Tuesday by the league office.
Repondek had a solid weekend for the 17th-ranked Terps (5-3) at the Triton Invitational.
The freshman was the table setter as she posted one goal, nine assists and two steals in four games which included two wins over top-20 teams.
Respondek had a team-high three assists in Saturday's 10-9 upset win over No. 14 Long Beach State. Respondek also had a goal and three assists in Sunday's near upset of No. 9 Indiana.
