COLLEGE PARK, Md. - After a week off, Maryland is back in action this weekend when it travels to San Diego to play in the Triton Invitational.
The 17th-ranked Terps (3-1) will play four games in the two-day event which gets underway on Saturday.
Maryland will face No. 14 Long Beach State at 9:20 a.m. PST in a tournament which features 16 teams, including 10 in this week's CWPA top 20 poll:
The Terps hope to build on a season-opening weekend (Jan. 28-29) which saw them win three of four, including a 14-6 victory over then 14th-ranked UC San Diego. UCSD is playing host to Triton Invitational.
