COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland Terrapins will look to continue their strong start to the regular season this weekend when they travel to Erie, Pa., to face CWPA Western Division foes Gannon and Notre Dame (Ohio).
The first-place Terps (8-3, 2-0) have won three straight games, including a pair of division contests.
Maryland will face Gannon (2-6), which is serving as host to a number of games over the weekend, at 11 a.m. Saturday.
While the Terps were knocking off Brown, No. 16 Hartwick and No. 11 Indiana last weekend at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, the Knights split four games in California. They defeated the University of La Verne and Whittier College, but lost to Cal State San Bernardino and Chapman.
Notre Dame (Ohio) will open its season against the Terps at 4 p.m. Saturday at Gannon's Carneval Athletic Pavilion.
