COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland volleyball head coach Tim Horsmon announced the 2012 spring schedule Wednesday. The Terps will compete in four tournaments including one in College Park on Saturday, April 14.

"We're looking forward to training this spring and having an opportunity to compete," said Horsmon. "The bulk of our team is returning and we should be able to put some things into place technically and systematically. The team should really benefit from this off season. It should be competitive within the gym as well as at the tournaments we are playing in."

The Terps begin the spring slate Saturday, March 31 in Virginia Beach. Maryland will play four matches including one against ACC-foe Virginia Tech.

The following weekend the Terrapins travel to Tobacco Road for a tournament at Duke. Maryland will play five matches on Saturday, April 7 against Duke, South Carolina, UNC Greensboro, UNC Wilmington and Wake Forest.

Maryland returns home Saturday, April 14 for four games against American, George Washington, Rutgers and Villanova, and will complete its spring schedule at Towson on Saturday, April 28 against George Washington, Towson and UMBC.
